No. Leggett & Platt adjustable bed bases are compatible with standard fitted sheets. However, if you purchase a split king (a base where the left and right sides move independently with two mattresses), you will need to use two twin XL fitted sheets – one for each side.
Standard sizes will fit the bed, but you may have to cut holes in the platform of the skirt to accommodate the mattress retainer. If so, it is recommended that you iron a fusible interfacing onto the back of the skirt platform for reinforcement; this will help prevent future unraveling after washing. Another suggestion to prevent unraveling is to sew buttonholes into the bedskirt.

The serial number should begin with a C, G, L, or W, followed by six digits. It is located 1) on the front of the owner’s manual; 2) on the back of the remote control; and 3) on the underside of the base. Split king bases will have two serial numbers.

Verify power cord is plugged into a working, grounded electrical outlet. A grounded, electrical surge protection device is recommended. Test outlet by plugging in another working appliance.
Re-program the remote control. Download the users manual for your remote control.
Unplug power cord, wait 30 seconds, and plug back in.
Replace batteries in the remote control.
Unplug base from electrical power source and remove batteries from remote control. Reinstall batteries and press any button on the remote control to re-establish communication.
If base is on its side, turn right-side-up. Safety switch may be engaged, preventing base from functioning.
