| Leggett & Platt was founded in 1883 by J.P. Leggett and C.D. Platt in Carthage, Missouri. The two partners invented the bedspring and built their company into what now is a Fortune 500 corporation with some 32,000 employee-partners worldwide. We have built adjustable sleep systems since 1973 and are the world's largest manufacturer. |
